ABOUT
The company is run buy a father and son partnership Roy and Christopher Pike. Roy was taken on as an apprentice and trained as a Carpenter and Joiner by E.C. Knight and Son of Frome in 1973. Since then he has worked on both new and period buildings. Chris joined him in 2002 and although concentrating on Carpentry and Joinery has become proficient in many other trades.
After finishing his apprenticship Roy worked at and ran a local joinery shop until 1985 when he started his own business and became self employed. From that point although carrying on as a joiner through demand began supplying other trade services as well.
Roy and Chris now running and trading as Somerset Building and Preservation Ltd supply all construction services from new build, renovation or general property maintenance using only highly skilled and friendy tradesmen.
